Philanthropic Giving

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world".

Nelson Mandela

Philanthropy (Noun):

A love of humanity; the desire to promote the welfare of others.

Each philanthropic contribution we receive supports sustainable, inclusive, high impact education projects that benefit children, their families and their communities for generations to come.

At UWS we’re aiming to provide a life-changing education to 250,000 children by 2030.

Could you help us reach this goal?

How education transforms lives

Education is one of the most powerful and proven methods for breaking the poverty cycle, empowering communities, and creating a fairer, more equitable world.

  • A child born to a mother who can read is 50% more likely to survive past age 5, 50% more likely to be immunised, and twice as likely to attend school themselves.
  • With each additional year of schooling an individual's earnings increase by up to 10%.
  • For every additional year of schooling girls receive, their country’s resilience to climate disasters improves substantially.

Yet one in every six children globally are still not in education. You can change this.

Why work with UWS?

Since 2008, UWS' award-winning, cost-effective, scalable model has transformed the lives of thousands of children living in some of the world's most remote and marginalised communities.

We build close, long-term relationships with those who choose to support our award-winning work with a philanthropic gift, to ensure that we provide a truly personalised journey.

Together we can ensure that your gift has the maximum impact and creates a powerful and permanent change.

How could you transform lives?

We’d love to talk with you about your philanthropic interests.

Please get in touch with our dedicated team.
