About us Our strategy Our strategy 17% of the world’s youth are out of school. Globally, three-quarters of primary-age children who may never attend school are girls. The rate of primary-age children who have access to school has not increased since 2008. In low-income countries, just 4% of the poorest children complete school, compared to 36% of the richest children. The Covid-19 crisis has exacerbated these inequalities, with children from poor families and linguistic minorities least likely to have received support during school closures. Without our help, they may never return to school. Supporting Global Goals We’re working towards UN Sustainable Development Goal 4: Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all. . Where we work
