What is Global Citizenship?

A global citizen is someone who cares about others and the world they live in. They take action to support causes they believe in, and work with others to make a positive impact on their planet.

United World Schools believes that global citizenship is key to protecting our world for future generations. Our award scheme for Partner Schools is designed to help young people gain the skills that will help them be successful in their education and beyond.
