Let's make sure that no child is left behind.

More than 80% of the 1.2 billion children currently out of the classroom due to COVID-19 are in developing countries, where school closures are compounding an already urgent learning crisis. We need your help to ensure that no child loses the opportunity to receive an education in the wake of the pandemic.

Interrupted learning will affect children living in poverty the most.

All of our schools are currently closed due to government guidance on COVID-19 and the longer vulnerable children are out of school, the less likely they are to return. We are supporting children during the crisis with the aim of ensuring they remain engaged and committed to learning, and that they return to school when they re-open.

We need your help to ensure every one of our students continues to learn and returns to school.

We will continue education by:

  • Producing engaging learning materials and distributing them to students in remote communities.
  • Prioritising wellbeing and mental health messages.
  • Delivering teacher training virtually, enabling our community teachers to effectively deliver the programme.

We will support the most vulnerable students during this time by:

  • Conducting proactive interventions to reduce the risk of dropping out.
  • Monitor those 'at risk' students and follow up if there are any dropouts.

We will re-open schools and make up for lost time by:

  • Assessing learning gaps and providing remedial learning opportunities.
  • Ensuring we have safety guidelines and checklists in place for all our schools in line with global and national regulations.

We need your support to make this happen.
