With thousands of students across the UK and around the world supporting United World Schools, it’s hard to escape that "back to school feeling" when September comes around again.

Every year, we’re reminded of the fact that there are millions of children around the world who will never reach this important milestone.

Over the past ten years, UWS has opened more than 150 schools in communities with no primary education. With your help we have given over 20,000 children the chance to go to school.

However, there are still 61 million primary school aged children around the world who need our help.

That is why we're asking friends, families, supporters, volunteers - we’re asking everyone - to help us get thousands more children into education.

We want you to share your school photo with the hashtag #MySchoolPhoto … and support those who can’t go to school.

Text MORE19 to 70070 followed by the amount to make a donation (for example, I sent MORE19 £5 to 70070) and nominate a couple of friends to share theirs.

To get the ball rolling, the team persuaded me to dig out one of mine ... which gave them a few laughs, but definitely worth it #MySchoolPhoto

Many thanks for your support.

Tim Howarth, Chief Executive, United World Schools
