Let's make sure that no child is left behind.

More than 80% of the 1.2 billion children currently out of the classroom due to COVID-19 are in developing countries, where school closures are compounding an already urgent learning crisis. We need your help to ensure that no child loses the opportunity to receive an education in the wake of the pandemic.

Interrupted learning will affect children living in poverty the most.

All of our schools are currently closed due to government guidance on COVID-19 and the longer vulnerable children are out of school, the less likely they are to return. We are supporting children during the crisis with the aim of ensuring they remain engaged and committed to learning, and that they return to school when they re-open.

We need your help to ensure every one of our students continues to learn and returns to school.

We will continue education by:

  • Producing engaging learning materials and distributing them to students in remote communities
  • Prioritising wellbeing and mental health messages.
  • Delivering teacher training virtually, enabling our community teachers to effectively deliver the programme.

We will prevent students from dropping out during this time by:

  • Tracking learning to ensure that children with additional needs or disabilities are supported
  • Monitor and track students considered to be at a higher risk of dropping out

We will re-open schools and make up for lost time by:

  • Assessing learning gaps and providing remedial learning opportunities.
  • Sanitising and refurbishing schools so they can re-open as safe spaces to learn.

We need your support to make this happen.
