Korean Re-shaping Development Institute (ReDI) sponsor two new schools in Myanmar

This week we were delighted to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Korean Re-shaping Development Institute (ReDI), who have agreed to sponsor two new UWS schools in Myanmar. Representatives from ReDI met with the UWS Myanmar team in Yangon, to sign the MoU and discuss plans for two projects in the Tachileik Township of the Shan State.

Construction of both schools will begin next month, and these new projects will join a rapidly growing hub of six schools in Tachileik, with four already open and a further two in development. You can read about the opening of another UWS school in Tachileik, Kyar Tear Toe Bo, here.

It is only thanks to supporters like ReDI that we have managed to reach hundreds of out of school children in Tachileik so far. These new projects will enable us to reach hundreds more.
