Kings Education raise £1000 for UWS abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower, Portsmouth

On Monday 6th April, IT Business Development Manager Karen Rees, along with her daughter Meg and Kings Bournemouth staff members Lexi Dyer and Ben Dando, abseiled the 100 metres down the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth on England’s south coast.

This impressive feat was to raise money for United World Schools, with the total currently standing at more than £1000.

Fortunately for the team the day brought perfect weather conditions, with blue skies and plenty of sunshine to enhance the already fantastic views from the top. Despite the soaring height there were very few nerves on show, with each team member expertly completing the descent.
